|The person holding this post will report to the Accounts Manager or any other manager in their absence. He/she will be responsible for the accounts receivable side of the accounts department, as well as needing to provide some cover to accounts payable if needed. They may also where necessary assist in the administrative department, as detailed on, but not limited to, the Structure of Responsibilities Document.
Maintenance of customer account ledger on Sage 50 Accounts
Sales ledger including applications, invoices and retentions
Updating the Bankflow and Projected Bank using excel spreadsheets.
Reconciliation of payments
Handle Customer queries
Credit Control -Customer contact
Resolve invoice discrepancies
Maintain and update the projected bank
Reconcile bank account with Sage 50 Accounts
Producing sales reports for management
Maintaining reports and communication links with the company’s invoice discounting provider
Maintaining good communication links to associated members of staff using email.
Covering AP duties when needed
