|Our client are a leading construction company based in High Wycombe. They are currently recruiting for a Payroll/HR Administrator to join their team
The role is to deliver an efficient HR and payroll service to the Head Office function. As an Human Resources administrator you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR administration support to the Head Office function and Regional Businesses. You will report to the Head of HR and work closely with the other members of the team to ensure that a professional, customer focused, proactive and flexible HR service is delivered to the business.
Maintain the in house HR and payroll system in respect of current employees which includes starters, leavers, transfers etc
Manage and co-ordinate all Payroll and HR administration ensuring information provided is accurate
Manage, co-ordinate and participate in the recruitment process and eligibility to work / background checks for all Head Office employees.
Draft and send out offer of employment letters, contracts of employment, changes in employment letters.
Manage the HR administration process from start to finish including references, chasing background checking forms and ensuring all new starters and leavers have the relevant information, recruitment letters, references etc.
Advise and support Head Office population on basic HR matters escalating to the HR team where required
Provide first line support to employee and line manager on HR/Payroll queries
Manage the HR and payroll archiving
Carry out all processes relating to the payroll system, ensuring all payroll deadlines are met
Ensure all payroll related tasks are processed within the deadlines i.e. Sickness, Allowance and Salary changes
